- Be treated with respect by both staff and fellow students
- Participate in play and activities
- Be listened to and have their opinions valued
- Have their belongings respected

Pupils’ responsibilities
Every student is expected to:

- Take care of school property and equipment
- Use digital tools and the internet responsibly
- Speak kindly to and about others
- Show respect to peers and adults

The following are not allowed
Violence, bullying, racism, harassment, theft, vandalism, cheating, being absent without a valid reason, and the use of drugs, alcohol, tobacco, or dangerous objects. This applies both in person and online, including social media.
If rules are broken
The school may:
- Talk with the pupil (and parents/guardians if needed)
- Provide guidance or written warnings
- Confiscate phones or other items used against the rules
- Ask the student to repair damage or apologise
- Restrict access to equipment or areas
- Temporarily exclude the pupil from class or school (in serious cases)
All actions will be fair, proportionate, and related to the rule that was broken. Parents/guardians will be informed in serious cases.
Working together
A positive school environment is a shared responsibility. Pupils, parents, and staff must work together with mutual respect and understanding. The school will ensure that both pupils and parents/guardians are familiar with the rules.
The school rules are effective from 1 August 2024.
